Why I Learned to Blog

  • Learning to blog is a “Legitimate Work at Home Job” I find fitting for anyone who likes writing, and knows how to properly word sentences into paragraphs on subjects of their interest, or what is the interest of the general public. Writing is one of the ways I enjoy expressing myself especially when the preciseness of what has been said might become necessary to be repeated at a later date, writing has the capability of reproducing the facts. Being a hobbyist I easily adapt to writing to enhance my memory and keeping up with fresh ideas as they are born into my thoughts.
  • As late as two years ago the word “Blog” was unfamiliar to me so I decided to review it and discover Blogs to be commonly known as web logs, and was not new on the Internet, except for those who were not actually tuned into the blog world. Blogs are very much a platform being used to post your thoughts on just about any topic you want to talk about. They are just another form of journaling, used for promoting, and publishing, anything that one’s heart desires to put in writing. However, if you are a beginner and new to blogging or Internet marketing, there are some very important things that you will need to know.
  • A Marketing Mindset
  • I realize that having marketing mindset help make blog marketing easier than I thought. I also find out that my blog becomes my product as it begins to meet the needs of my readers. People like to get information on subjects they are interested in; being able to write this information is the creation of a product delivered in form of a written article. The use of blogs is as interesting as the daily news if one is a good writer. Blogs are truths being shared and the more interesting they are is the more readers will gravitate towards them. I was a secret blogger who blogs secretly in note pad on a daily basis, those blogs were used for my personal recollection at some point as it becomes necessary. However, though private those were as I decide to share them they are of benefit to others and become even more profitable.
  • Getting your thoughts in the face of the general public you could find others that are having the same ideas. If you have never even had a blog before, the simplest thing that you can do is to start one, and just journal in it for a while. This will allow you to learn just what it takes and what it is all about to keep up a blog. When you are just jotting down your thoughts and what is on your mind, you have nothing to lose and nothing to gain. You don’t even have to make your blog public if you don’t want others to read what you have to say. It was a personal choice I made, but doing it let me see how it works as I tested my own capabilities. Then I moved on to trying to market my product and services I’ve created.
  • Blog Marketing V Website Marketing
  • Making comparison it is cheaper to use a Blog to market something than using a website. This is because there are so many free Blogs out there that you can use to get the word out, and they are really just as good as having a website that you pay for. There are of course some advantages to having your own website, but for a beginner, a free one will work until you get the hang of it and want to move it all over onto your own server. Some free blogs are just not that customizable. If you are not familiar with HTML, you are going to find that your blog will look like everyone else. But that is ok in the beginning; you can always make changes later on as you are becoming successful. Having my own blog, I am totally in charge of the content that is posted on it. I decide what is said, and what is not, I write it all, so there is no limit. Whether I want a blog that does website reviews and takes nominations, or want to sell things that I make out of my home the choice is mine.
  • Make It Easy
  • Blog marketing can get complicated if you let it, but It is really only as hard as you will make it. The fact is a blogger cannot deliver what he/she does not have and make a six figure income with the use of a blog. Blogs are facts that you know of and have the power to share and profit from as proof that it can be done.  All it takes is the “know how”. A beginner may want to consider this bit of advice, start small, and be consistent; it is like taking baby steps. Imagine that most six figure bloggers all did it. They started with one blog, built it up, and then added another blog, built it up. Then, maintaining both blogs and not neglecting them, they continued to add more and more while improving their discipline. Of course they probably had help at some point, and they may have outsourced a lot of their work too. Keep in mind if you are looking to make a massive income with blogging, you are going to need some help, I learned this.
  • Since I learned blog marketing, it has been a great asset to me. Being able to market things from a blog is a great accomplishment, and most satisfying thing that you will ever learn how to do. Just do not expect to make money overnight, know that you have to work at it consistently every day, and remember to put into it what you want to get out of it. I have marketed Financial Services to the general public over a period of 17 years. Based on my marketing experience in this field I can comfortably address any marketing possibility and approach to marketing both tangible and intangible products. Your mindset is the key to any successful marketing.
